LAFC has posted a match trailer video on their official website, building anticipation for their upcoming CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal second leg against Inter Miami. The video emphasizes the team's ability to perform under pressure and their ambition to secure more silverware. It also included captain Aaron Long asserting that they know the pressure that comes with playing for LAFC and that it’s a responsibility they carry.
“When you play at a big club, you have the responsibility to play well and to fight for titles and to fight for trophies. Some players may call that pressure. I feel it’s, you know, more of a responsibility, it’s like more of a duty,” Long said in the video.
Defender Ryan Hollingshead also added that fighting for titles and trophies is why several members of the squad signed for the team in the first place.
“That’s why you come to a big market team like LAFC. You’re in a lot of championship games, you’re in a lot of big playoff games, games that have a ton of importance,” Hollingshead added.
