They had earlier defeatedreigning champions Karnataka.Delhi, chasing an unlikely victory target of 501, were 41 forno loss when they resumed on Sunday morning. The opening pairDevinder Sharma (34) and A Chopra (23) put on 56 runs. But exceptfor Ashu Dani who came in at No 8, none of the other batsmenoffered much resistance as Abhey Kuruvila (3 for 43), NileshKulkarni (3 for 37) and Sairaj Bahutule (3 for 18) ran throughthe Delhi line up.
