Tottenham defeated United in the Europa League final on Wednesday, securing their first piece of silverware in over a decade. This victory represents a significant moment for Spurs, a club that has struggled for consistency and silverware in recent years. Postecoglou's arrival was met with both excitement and skepticism, particularly given Tottenham's poor league form this season. However, by winning the Europa League, he has silenced many doubters and potentially altered the narrative surrounding his tenure. Winning a trophy is extremely difficult, with many big managers such as Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte failing to claim any silverware at Spurs.
WHAT JORDAN SAID
Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan said: "I watched a game where two sides weren't particularly that entertaining, but I watched a game where the result was more prevalent than the performance, and Tottenham got the job done.
"I was pleased for Ange Postecoglou. Postecoglou did what I love to see people do, which is they say they're going to do something and they went and did it.
"He has got the monkey off people's backs which is a trophy. He has exhibited something that maybe he'll now pivot into which is I can play a different way when I have to when I need to, when there's a real pressure on me to achieve an outcome.
"I think he's earned the right to have some latitude. I'm thrilled for him and he's thrilled for himself."

For Postecoglou, the challenge now is to build on this success and integrate what he has learnt into a Premier League title challenge. The summer transfer window presents an opportunity to strengthen the squad further and his ability to adapt his tactics could be crucial for future success. For Daniel Levy, he has to decide whether the victory is just a blip or to trust in Postecoglou's vision for the long-term.
