Starting the day on 83 for 8, theServices side needed 268 for victory. In the end they managed just 98runs in all. Ashish Nehra added one more wicket to his tally and endedwith the impressive figured of 6/31. The second innings showing was adisappointing one for Services, with only two batsmen making it todouble figures. Delhi’s victory by 168 runs got their Ranji Trophycampaign off to a perfect start. Delhi needed just 7 overs to completethe formalities on the last day, and hardly broke into a sweat.
