Fagioli's name popped up in an investigation into an unauthorised platform and he has been interviewed by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and prosecutors are looking into the matter.
Newcastle star Tonali and Aston Villa's Zaniolo were subsequently revealed to be under investigation and questioned by police. All three players could end up being banned for three years and hit with fines.

Despite the controversy, Spalletti vowed to support the players but believes the investigation must go through, saying: "We will support them but it’s correct to let them leave our camp after speaking to police. If they have committed irregularities, it is absolutely right to proceed with the investigation."
He continued to : "It was a difficult night, when you have to bring home results there is always anxiety, but it was a different night, with a lot of bitterness for what happened.
"The whole team is close to Tonali and Zaniolo, we are very sorry. We will continue to be close to them even after, now they have the lights on them. We must try to help them defend themselves, but it is also right that justice takes its course and, if irregular things have been committed, then it will be right to pay."
